Company aims to raise $10,000 for Rescue Squad’s new truck

Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB) have stepped on board the Mudgee Rescue Squad’s (VRA) appeal for a new truck.
The company is currently raising money through their weekly barbe-cue and hope to contribute $10,000 to the squad’s campaign over the remaining 18 months of the Ulan West Project.
Rescue Squad representatives Doug Grigg (past Captain) and Garry Dollisson (Secretary/Deputy Captain) presented Parsons Brinckerhoff staff with a portfolio for New Truck support at their weekly barbecue.
They also gave a brief overview of the squad’s operations and how the community supports them to help the people of the Mudgee region. PB are working with Xstrata on the Ulan West Project.They have approximately 40 staff on site managing the design and construction of the new facilities at Ulan West. Many of the Ulan West Project team members are local residents and fly-in-fly-out staff live in the local community while working on site.The Ulan West Project team hold their weekly fundraising barbecue in order to raise funds to support a local cause and voted to support Mudgee Rescue Squad’s current efforts to purchase a new vehicle.The squad needs to raise about $105,000 to buy their new truck.
